School of Excellence
Berea- Midpark High School PTSA is applying to be a 2023-2024 National PTA School of Excellence. The PTSA is looking for feedback on our school community from our school community. Please click this LINK to be directed to the Google Form Survey to provide feedback.
The School of Excellence program is based in best practice using PTA's National Standards for Family-School Partnerships: Welcome All Families, Communicate Effectively, Support Student Success, Speak Up For Every Child, Share Power and Collaborate With The Community. You will be expected to incorporate at least one of these into your efforts through the program.
The Standards were updated and improved upon in 2022, so you are highly encouraged to learn more about them by exploring what has changed since the 2008 version, including the definitions, goals and indicators for each of the six tenets. The PTA National Standards Overview (en español) is a great place to start to find more information about what we are trying to accomplish this year.
Berea-Midpark High School PTSA was awarded the National PTA School of Excellence designation for 2019 - 2021.
National PTA School of Excellence recognition program opens the lines of communication and critical thinking within school communities to make data-driven decisions that yield positive, long-term results. National PTA School of Excellence is a recognition program that supports and celebrates partnerships between PTAs and schools to enrich the educational experience and overall well-being for all students. By enrolling in this program, your PTA and school administrators are making a year-long commitment in identifying and implementing an action plan for school improvement based on PTA's National Standards for Family-School Partnerships and Transformative Family Engagement.
We are proud to have developed a strong family-school partnership at the high school and look forward to continued efforts to benefit our students and their success!
