There is a 24 - 48 hour turnaround time with processing work permits.
Important Info:
The papers the student gets from the school offices are solely an application. We have to process the document in the Department of Commerce website and print a new document that has to be signed by the minor applying for a work permit.
There is also no signature needed from the Superintendent.
It is required by the Department of Commerce to have the physical up to date. We CANNOT complete the work permit without documentation of a physical. Some employers may not require it but it IS REQUIRED by the Department of Commerce.
